News Flash - Cheshire Cat is a Secret Cat

According to trusted sources, the cheshire cat may in fact be a secret cat.  Decide for yourself.

THE secret cat

google reveals this.

excerpt:

The words throbbed through Ewan's mind. He didn't dare say anything aloud. Not with his Senior Tutor standing there, cool and critical, and Charlie staring at him in open triumph. Don't come…

Ewan fixed his gaze on the narrow alley between two apartment buildings, soaring up toward the CityDome. He dreaded the first sign of movement. His stomach churning, he dug his fingernails into his hands, remembering when he'd first seen Cat.

He always stopped off in the yard behind the apartments on his way home from the Learning Center. There was a warm niche near the aircon outlets, where he could sit and work on his assignments. Hardly anyone went there; it was quieter than his apartment, with his little sister and the new baby.

Poring over his microscreen, as he struggled with a math problem, he felt something touch his leg. Glancing up, his eyes met a pair of wide, green-gold ones. A small head with pricked ears. Fur: mottled brown, black and gold on top, white underneath. Jaws gaped wide, showing a pink tongue and white, needle-sharp teeth. The creature let out a piercing cry.

i think i like secret cat much, much better.

Consanguinity

Consanguinity

Refers to the property of being from the same kinship as another person. In that respect, consanguinity is the quality of being descended from the same ancestor as another person. Consanguinity is an important legal concept in that the laws of many jurisdictions consider consanguinity as a factor in deciding whether two individuals may be married or whether a given person inherits property when a deceased person has not left a will.

***IMPORTANT THINGS TO CONSIDER: as read on the baltimore crime blog (and if CERTAIN CO EDITORS OF THIS HERE BLOG would teach me how to hyperlink, instead of sending me off into the woods a la cult males upon maturation and/or when mother sharks leave their freshly birthed youth behind), Detriot apparently is guilty of frequent withholding of correct murder rates, so read with a grain of salt.

lions and tigers and bears, oh my

lion, tiger and bear all living together in harmony; depression predicted if separated.

i think this is a pretty obvious analogy. don't leave us!

(other news: the first thing that comes up in a googlesearch for "weird news tiger" is this. danielle, you should think about writing freelance for them if you decide to go home)
Our outrage is boundless.

The height of of hilarity: photoshopping thinker to stinker (ha!. Ha ha!). Alas, I was too enraged.

the great boston molasses disaster

i know we're all read books about this, but...

"and that's why... to this day... in some parts of downtown... you can still smell the sickly sweet scents of destruction."

ps. if you haven't read a book about this yet (who are you!), i'd recommend this one.

Missing! but Lost.

The racoon twins

are lost and all but dream animalia at this point.  The only ones who can find them are their (our) secret cats.

Good bye.

secret woman

"This gentleman couldn't figure out why food was going missing in his high-story NYC apartment. His girlfriend denied taking it. So he set up a hidden camera to see what was happening, and shortly thereafter, he saw a strange woman creep out of a deep storage crawlspace over the kitchen, let herself down onto the kitchen table and help herself to his pantry. He phoned the police (he was in the apartment), and they told him after investigating that they believed the woman had been secretly living in his apartment for weeks."

beware the antics of secret woman.
